I am relieved to learn that this system optimizer software suite does not interfere with any current active anti virus software program. I have been using Microsoft Security Essentials for my Windows XP pro operating system. I am not into downloading all these loaded antivirus software that try to take control of your system. I prefer to keep it simple and use Security Essentials because it is light. I may decide to try to optimize my site with this suite.
I find the startup manager to be one of the more useful features of this software suite. I used to use the method where you press the control button with the Alt button and the delete button at the same time in order to launch the system tray and then you click the last tab to the right which gives you a check list of the programs you want to launch on boot. The problem is these settings never seem to stick for very long.
I appreciate the advice but I just don’t feel right trying to do this by myself. I don’t think that I know enough about computers to attempt to delete anything or clean up anything without knowing more about it. I will do some more research and see if I can find enough information on how to do this to make myself feel more c comfortable about it.

I understand your concern in losing data from your computer. However, almost all computer maintenance utilities (including Advanced System Optimizer) allow you to restore anything you’ve deleted, so you don’t run into the risk of losing anything. If something goes wrong after cleaning up the junk from your PC, you can always go back and restore the files that were deleted, so no worries.
This sounds much better than using one of those optimizer programs they are selling on TV that you do on-line or you let them do I should say. What better way to steal your personal information than for you to give them access to your computer remotely. My husband doesn’t seem to have a problem doing this with companies like Max my Speed but I sure do. Maybe that is why his I.D. was stolen.
I was watching the local news and they had a report about the release of the new iPad from Apple. Before they aired the complete news report, the teaser they used read, “could this product be the beginning of the end of personal computers? I am not buying it! At least not until someone builds an IPad or tablet with as much processing power and RAM as my high powered laptop computer.
